The MC explains the title: "Not to say that what I put out
in the future won't be even better, because it will. But
right now, at this time, I am sure of this project, and hype
on it's turn out. I felt like most emcees take creating an
album too lightly. When I feel we should approach it as an
artform, and use it to edify and enlighten."
Goal
Mellow Drum Addict continues by saying: "I am a firm
believer in Jesus Christ, but I want to make music anyone
can listen to, and gain from. In April 2009 the rapper
emphasizes his stand on making music for everyone's ears: "I
am no longer doing music that would be accepted by most
christian hip hop fans. I am a firm believer in Christ, but
have no problems using certain language that people would
think is unholy."
Albums
His debut album "Strides Ahead Of Tha Half Step" is released
on January 30th, 2007.
The MC released his sophomore release as "Mellow Drum Addict
and Shortop". He teamed up with DJ Shortop to release "Are
Fire Escape Artists" (2008) for End of Earth Records.

His third release is "Corner Of Broadened Mind" released in
