then known as Eye Deeh, of the crew Vorm has evolved into
Skinfiltr8r, an artist experimenting with soundscapes and
spoken word.
Founding Father
Rik Zutphen can be seen as one of the founding fathers of
the Dutch holy hip hop scene together with the Idoalist and
Lion Cub from the crew Holy Eyes. Rik was the initiator
behind the Dutch holy hip hop magazine Rap & Roer, which he
produced between 1996 until 1999.
Concerts
Skinfiltr8r has performed abroad and has supported The
Listener's Tour of Homes European edition in 2006.
Abums
During his concerts Skinfiltr8r sells his album: Audio
Sketches. Because of the ever changing nature of his
performances the tracklisting is never the same.
Praise
A new initiative of Skinfiltr8r is the use of spoken word to
bring a new form of praise and meditation. He does so by
mixing his soundscapes and scriptures from the bible like on
the album "Prayers, Psalms and Meditations : Words Made
Flesh". |
