Info:Odd Thomas from Long Beach, California is a MC, a producer and a poet as well. He made a name for himself as a member of formal Los Angeles based groups "Deviance" and "Science project". In 2005 Odd Thomas finally released his long awaited project called Dead Hummingbird.

DeadBeat
The artist was formerly known as Deadbeat, during "Science Project". He released one album entitled "The Prominent Poet", under that name.
When the MC was part of the Deviance crew his name was Omnipoetic (1999).

New label
On June 29th, 2009 it is announced Odd Thomas has signed with Syntax Records. Syntax Records has a long relationship with Odd Thomas that dates back to 2000. Odd Thomas worked on compilations such as Fashion Expo and Night Owls volumes 1, 2 and 4. He is also responsible for the beat used on RedCloud’s infectious joint "Tapatio."
"I have always respected Syntax both in terms of creativity and in vision,” Odd Thomas says. “I knew that it was only a matter of time before we built on something a little more exclusive."
