Info:The members of Descendantz have been ministering based out of south Florida, since 1996. They present Jesus Christ through the tool of hip hop to attract their generation with a common ground.

Beliefs
Salvation is the main concern that the Holy Spirit has placed upon their hearts and they strongly believe that every ear can hear the uncompromised gospel. Descendantz believe that true salvation comes from The Father through Jesus Christ by a sincere repentance, and which in turns transforms lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Music
Early in their ministry the members of Descendantz were graced with the opportunity to be featured in various compilation albums. In 1997 the members of Descendantz represented on the national release “Godzhouse.com” Compilation Album/CMN Records with the songs: Crusade 2000 and 1019. They also had the pleasure to be featured in DJ MAJ’s first underground mix tape “Sabbatical Transit” (1997) with the song “1019” (DJ MAJ remix), also were featured on “Souljourn” 1Way’s national Seventh Street Records release (1999), and in 2004 on the national release “Best of the submissions mix tape” on BeatMart Recordings.

Style
Descendantz bring an eclectic sound to Hip Hop, from cuts and scratches from DJ Morphiziz, to tunnel banging tracks produced by Elemental as well as DJ Morphiziz. The responsibilities of lacing these tracks with Holy Spirit inspired lyrics are: Elemental and EddieNigma.

Albums
“Divine Rootz” is the name of their 15-track debut album released in 1999. The title explains that their spiritual foundations are intertwined with the Holy and Living God; Jesus being the Son of the Father and the children of God being co-heirs to His Kingdom classifies them as His Descendantz.
“Reformed Re-Constructed” (2004) is the name of their current album. The title expresses their willingness to be molded by the hands of the Living God. Their music is not based on what they are told traditional Hip Hop should sound like, rather they seek inspiration through the father and situations they have dealt with at certain points of their lives.

New album
They are currently working on their third full length release called “Restricted Airplay”.
