Energetic
The members, K-nuff, Juanlove, and Butta P, the feminine
soul of the group, shine forth with a lyrical prowess that
many would agree is missing in todays hip hop shuffle. Their
energetic live show has taken them all over the world, from
Russia to South Africa to Lithuania to the Doby Hall in
Scotland.
Vision
The vision is pretty cut and dry, says MC, Butta P; it is
all about redefinition. Rhema Soul seeks to change the way
you feel about music and the Gospel. And the results are
refreshing, with a sound reminiscent of hip hop's golden
era, brought forth through the lens of todays unique times
and culture.
Discipleship
With jams ranging from the lighthearted to the soul
quenching, these three MCs are providing the listener
something to write home about. Ultimately, the heartbeat of
Rhema Soul is discipleship, as the effects of the music go
well beyond the parameters of sound and vibe. And their
involvement in the local church is, to them, of critical
importance.
Label
On July 14th, 2008 Rhema Soul announces the founding of
their label Good City Music, LLC. "We formed our own label
called Good City Music. The label consist of Rhema Soul,
G-Styles, and Marty Mar. We are a group of artists and
producers who have the same vision."
Albums
The crew released their debut album "Worn Soles" in 2007. On
July 1st, 2009 the crew stated: Rhema Soul will be heading
back into the studio to work on their 3rd album and 1st
National release. |
