Name change
In September 2007 the MC changed his artistname ArtOfact and
presented himself under his own name: Jeremiah Bonds.
Youth
The MC grew up in a family of 3 sisters and 1 brother and
him being the youngest sibling. Jeremiah Bonds is currently
attending high school.
Fire
With fire burning deep into his heart and everything between
him and God going well, things took a turn when he stepped
foot into public school.
Crowd
Hanging out with the wrong crowd, seeking companionship from
the wrong friends, and allowing the wrong influences in,
regressed and began to act worldly. Years and circumstances
past and in 5th grade he began getting his life back on the
right track.
No Games
He was young, but knew that God played no games and needed
to be an integral part of his life if he were to have
happiness. At his church he joined the choir and
participated plays. One leading reason being that he really
liked a girl that would join those things, so like a
faithful puppy he'd follow.
Learned
The next year ArtOfact picked up a pen and started
constructing songs. So after certain heartbreaks, getting
healed, broken again, and then healed once more. The MC has
learned to write his pain in song, with metaphors, and other
elements to make them abstract after the mold of another
famous psalmist, King David.
Syntax
With many musical influences in his life, family, friends,
there is one record label that he would love to thank.
Syntax Records, Jeremiah would like to thank them on behalf
of making the best music ever, helping him get out of his
secularism.
Duo
The artist has formed the duo Forgotten Heroes with Nomis
and released the album "Forget What You Heard" (2007).
Albums
The MC released his debut album "Chemical Imbalance" under
the alias ArtOfact in November 2006 and the EP "No Response"
as Jeremiah Bonds in 2007. The EP will be followed by his
upcoming sophomore record "No Response" in 2008. |
