| Info: | Jamie Mayberry (JayMay) and Curtis Kemp founded the label in
January 2005 and co-own the label.
Military
Their start came from a deep desire to want to get music out
to people that was filled with the Word and glorifies God.
These two brothers met in the military, while stationed in
Germany. They both have labored together in the ministry and
served at the same church.
Recording
While Jamie was recording music, Curtis was making gospel
mix CD?s. After much prayer and preparation they teamed up
and started Double Edge Sword Records.
New Artist: UnknowN
On November 18, 2006 Double Edge Sword Records announced the
signing of producer/artist UnknowN. As Jamerson Mayberry
states: "UnknowN is definitely just the right piece to bring
to the label, his style of music and heart for ministry
makes him a perfect fit in the DES family."
New Crew
On November 5nd, 2007 Double Edge Sword Records announced
the signing of “The GhostWriters” which consist of
Apaulsoul and UnknowN. |
